Beginning Pistol Shooting Skill Builder

This three-hour skill builder is intended for shooters who have little pistol experience. It is intended to provide a good start to building basic marksmanship skills. This is an excellent next step for the shooter who has already completed a course such as the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course, and wants to build familiarity and basic marksmanship and safe handling skills with his or her pistol. Golden State Training's skill builders consist predominantly of range time, with close instructor supervision. Each shooter should bring a safe, functional handgun, at least 150 rounds of factory ammunition. Students are strongly encouraged to use their own handguns, however rentals and/or loaners may be available depending on the course location. Participation is subject to approval by the course instructors.

Intermediate Pistol Shooting Skill Builder

This three-hour skill builder is intended for shooters who are already familiar with the safe operation of their handgun and have basic marksmanship skills. This workshop provides the opportunity for students to work through various exercises with instructors in order to diagnose marksmanship problems and hone skills. Participation is subject to approval by the course instructors.
